police officers were victims of violence in 2024 — the highest figure since records began.

In the decisive moment, what matters is not who says what — but what can be proven.

What happens around the vehicle must not stay in the blind spot.

A body-worn camera shows what the officer sees. The area around the vehicle lies outside its field of view. This is exactly where vehicle-mounted video evidence steps in: all around the vehicle, continuously and position-accurate — even when no one can hold a camera anymore.

Document

Seamless, signed recording of critical situations — from the stop to the handover.

Protect

Greater safety for officers. Visible documentation can have a de-escalating effect and provides clarity when a situation is reviewed later.

Resolve

Traceable evidence instead of one word against another — all the way to court.

From the lens to the courtroom.

Every recording is signed automatically. Its authenticity can be verified independently — with no proprietary black box.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers on in-vehicle video evidence, court admissibility, data protection and procurement.

What is in-vehicle video evidence?

In-vehicle video evidence (Videoeigensicherung) is vehicle-mounted, court-admissible video documentation of the vehicle’s surroundings and operational situations. A permanently installed vehicle camera records all around the emergency vehicle — continuously, position-accurate and signed in a tamper-proof way. The result is mobile video documentation that holds up in court.

Are the recordings admissible in court?

Yes. Every recording is signed automatically and immutably. Authenticity and integrity can be verified by any independent party — court, expert witness or defence — using standard tools. The system is built for court admissibility; what matters is not the resolution, but that the recording is provably unaltered.

How is the authenticity of a recording proven?

Through a cryptographic signature in line with BSI guidance (TR-02102-1), bound to the device that created it (chain of custody). Verification uses open, standard tools — with no vendor-specific black box. The full procedure is publicly documented and verifiable.

Can the system be used in compliance with the GDPR?

Yes. Processing is designed to be data-minimising and purpose-bound, access is logged, and recording can be configured to specific triggers. Developed and manufactured in Germany, with a controllable supply chain and no exposure to foreign cloud legislation.

Can violations of the emergency lane be documented?

Yes. Vehicle-mounted video evidence can capture violations objectively and court-admissibly straight from the approaching emergency vehicle — a solid basis for penalising emergency-lane violations, without relying on chance witnesses.

Is a dashcam or vehicle camera permitted in an emergency vehicle?

Yes. Trigger-based, event-controlled recording is legally permissible; in 2018 Germany’s Federal Court of Justice (BGH) confirmed that such recordings are admissible in principle. Professional vehicle video evidence is built precisely for this and meets the legal requirements by design.

How do you support us with the tender?

We provide product-neutral specification building blocks, technical datasheets and the procedure document for download — without registration. On request, you receive a budgetary price estimate in advance for your budget planning. This supports your market exploration under § 28 VgV and a procurement-compliant, vendor-neutral tender.
